Abu Dhabi to Welcome 2025 with Record-Breaking Fireworks and Drone Show

This New Year’s Eve, Abu Dhabi is preparing to deliver an unforgettable celebration as the Sheikh Zayed Festival announces plans to break six Guinness World Records. The highlight? A 50-minute fireworks display — the longest in the world — lighting up the skies to ring in 2025.

A fleet of 6,000 drones will create intricate light displays and art forms in the sky, accompanied by synchronized music. This year’s show aims to push boundaries, surpassing last year’s record-setting event that featured 40 minutes of fireworks and three Guinness World Records.

The spectacle begins at 6:00 PM with hourly fireworks shows leading up to the grand finale at midnight. Guests can also enjoy laser performances, cultural displays, and family-friendly entertainment throughout the evening.

Abu Dhabi’s bold plans for New Year’s Eve promise not just a celebration, but a showcase of innovation and creativity that cements its status as a global hub for extraordinary events.
