UAE Residents May Soon Travel to the Edge of Space

The UAE is on the verge of entering the space tourism era, offering residents and visitors the chance to witness Earth and Dubai’s skyline from the stratosphere.

Passengers will travel in pressurised capsules with panoramic windows, luxurious interiors, and onboard dining. The six-hour experience includes a slow ascent, time at the edge of space, and a gradual descent, priced at approximately AED 460,000 per person. Launches are proposed from The Palm Jumeirah, allowing tourists to admire Dubai’s most famous landmarks during the ascent.

Capsules developed in collaboration with leading aerospace experts will reach an altitude of 40,000 metres, providing stunning views of Earth’s curvature. Plans to include a Michelin-starred chef onboard are also being explored, adding to the exclusivity of the experience. Over 1,800 tickets have already been sold, with strong demand expected in the future.
