Spanning an area of 125,000 square metres with a width of 80 metres, the development will include a dedicated public beach for women, complete with night swimming facilities. Visitors can also look forward to extensive running, walking, and cycling tracks that seamlessly connect Al Mamzar Creek Beach with Al Mamzar Park, a first-of-its-kind design in the region. These paths will be surrounded by green spaces crafted to the highest standards of landscaping, offering a blend of natural beauty and urban convenience.
In addition to these features, the beach will host a range of family-friendly amenities, including children’s play areas, a sports club, and a 2,000-square-metre skateboarding area. A 5,000-square-metre space for seasonal events and activities will also be a highlight, ensuring year-round engagement for visitors.
Smart services will play a significant role in enhancing the visitor experience, with the inclusion of AI-powered surveillance systems, drowning rescue technologies, crowd management tools, and smart luggage lockers. This emphasis on innovation aligns with Dubai’s broader vision of creating sustainable and cutting-edge infrastructure.
The first phase of the project, which began in mid-2023, has already reached 45% completion. Covering a larger area of 275,000 square metres, this phase includes a 200-metre-long pedestrian pontoon bridge connecting the two banks of the creek. Other notable features are a 300-metre-long night swimming area, designed to be accessible for people of determination, and a 5-kilometre walkway with dedicated running and cycling tracks.
