Tourists in the UAE Encouraged to Use New App for Faster Entry

The app, available on both the App Store and Google Play, allows users to upload their travel details, scan passports, and complete fingerprint and facial recognition scans. This seamless process eliminates the need to wait in long queues, offering visitors a smoother entry experience.

To get started, travelers select their mode of arrival – air, sea, or land – choose their point of entry and input their arrival date. The app then guides users through document scanning and biometric registration. First-time users will also need to provide basic information, such as an email address, phone number, and occupation.

The initiative highlights the UAE’s commitment to innovation and efficiency in border management. The ICP emphasized that the app not only enhances convenience for visitors but also strengthens security through advanced biometric systems.
