The airline will align its flight schedules with TUI’s cruise departures, ensuring seamless air-to-sea connections for international travellers. Dedicated seat blocks on select routes will also be made available to meet demand from key source markets.
Beyond operations, Emirates and TUI Cruises will partner on joint marketing initiatives and work closely with Dubai stakeholders to enhance transport links between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and the Hamdan bin Mohammed Cruise Terminal – the world’s largest fully enclosed cruise facility, capable of handling up to 14,000 passengers per day.
The partnership will also extend beyond Dubai, with a focus on supporting cruise itineraries in the Far East. Among them, TUI’s Mein Schiff 6 offers a 14-day route starting and ending in Singapore, with stops in Malaysia, Thailand, Hong Kong, Vietnam, and Japan.
Looking ahead, two ships will homeport in Dubai next season, each carrying over 2,500 passengers. Guests will be able to choose from two itineraries that begin and end in Dubai, with stopovers in Abu Dhabi, Oman, and Qatar. Emirates and TUI Cruises also plan to leverage data and expand staff presence to streamline the cruise check-in experience and further improve passenger service.
