Dubai Set to Welcome a Wave of New Hotels in 2025

Dubai’s hospitality sector is preparing for a major boost this year, with a series of high-profile hotel openings set to add new landmarks to the city’s skyline – and reshape its luxury offering.

One of the most anticipated projects is Ciel Tower, set to become the tallest hotel in the world at 365 metres. Located in Dubai Marina, the tower will feature a rooftop infinity pool and bar, panoramic views of Palm Jumeirah, a glass viewing deck, and a modern fitness centre.

Later this year, Moxy Al Barsha will open its doors near the city’s public transport hubs – a vibrant, urban-style hotel aimed at active travellers and younger guests looking to explore Dubai. Another standout is Honeymoon Island on Dubai World Islands. Inspired by the Maldives and shaped like a heart, the island will offer 121 rooms and several villas connected by promenades and docks. Surrounded by white sand beaches and gardens, it’s designed for romantic getaways.

Meanwhile, Kempinski Floating Palace will bring a new level of waterfront luxury. Moored off the Dubai coastline, this floating hotel will offer fine dining, boutique shopping and wellness experiences, along with berths for visiting yachts. Looking ahead to early 2026, Marbella Resort – designed with Andalusian flair – will feature 150 rooms and direct access to a marine reserve with over 500,000 square metres of coral reefs, making it a haven for snorkelling and watersports.

Palm Jumeirah will soon welcome Six Senses Residences The Palm, the brand’s first opening in the UAE. It will include 61 hotel rooms, 162 branded residences, and a 60,000-square-foot wellness club with a strong focus on sustainability and wellbeing. Rounding off the list is Rixos Dubai Islands, Hotel & Residences – the first luxury hotel to open in the new Dubai Islands development. The beachfront property will offer a wide range of accommodations, from stylish apartments to private pool villas.
