This year’s programme includes over 15 new gallery exhibitions, site-specific installations, artist talks, workshops, screenings, and open studios. The works on view will explore themes of displacement, resilience, identity, and the shifting meanings of belonging – all within walking distance across the Avenue’s creative district.
A key highlight of the week is Vanishing Points, a solo exhibition by Pakistani artist Imran Qureshi, curated by Nada Raza. Using a combination of video, photography, painting, and installation, Qureshi plays with scale and perception, inviting audiences to experience the world as if it were a miniature.
New public art commissions curated by Fatoş Üstek will feature prominent artists such as Nujoom Alghanem and Shilpa Gupta, whose work questions the limits of personal and collective space. Meanwhile, the Majlis Talks series will return with provocative conversations on the state of the art world and the tensions that define it today.
Alserkal Art Week is free to attend and open to all. With exhibitions, performances, and conversations unfolding across one of the region’s most dynamic creative hubs, it remains one of the most anticipated events on Dubai’s cultural calendar.
