Luxury car plates were the highlight of the night, bringing in more than Dh75 million. BinGhatti Holding’s Chairman, Muhammad BinGhatti, was the biggest contributor, securing DD 5 for Dh35 million and DD 15 for Dh9.2 million, with his total bids reaching Dh44.2 million – more than half of the auction’s total proceeds. Other standout sales included DD 12 (Dh12.8 million) and DD 77 (Dh12.6 million).
The auction also featured 20 exclusive mobile numbers, which raised Dh7.7 million. The highest-selling numbers were du 0584444444 (Dh1.7 million) and e& UAE 0565000000 (Dh1.6 million).
With high-stakes bidding wars and moments of excitement – including a young child nicknamed "the cub" placing bids on behalf of his father – the auction reinforced Dubai’s reputation as a global hub for luxury auctions and philanthropy.
