Dubai Launches New Sports and Entertainment Free Zone Cluster

Dubai is set to launch a dedicated free zone cluster for the sports and entertainment industries, aiming to position the emirate as a global hub for major events, leagues, and creative businesses. The newly announced International Sports and Entertainment Free Zone Cluster (ISEZA) will offer a dynamic space for global sports organizations, rights holders, talent agencies, and emerging sectors such as e-sports and AI-driven sports tech.

Located in One Central, adjacent to the Museum of the Future, ISEZA is designed to provide licensing opportunities for businesses involved in sports management, event production, broadcasting, and digital fan engagement. It will also serve as a platform for international sports federations, leagues, and associations looking to establish a regional presence in the Middle East. In addition to fostering business innovation, the free zone is expected to drive growth in community-focused initiatives, including sports exhibitions, academic programs, and wellness-driven events.

Beyond business, the initiative aligns with Dubai’s long-term vision to promote active lifestyles and boost the local sports culture. The free zone will facilitate collaborations between professional athletes, fitness organizations, and grassroots sports programs, reinforcing Dubai’s commitment to making health and wellness a key part of urban life. From football to motorsports, e-sports to live entertainment, ISEZA will cater to an extensive range of industries, ensuring Dubai remains at the forefront of global sports and entertainment developments.
