For those eyeing beach getaways, Phuket (+140%), Mauritius (+165%), and the Seychelles (+110%) are among the leading spots. If you’re planning a trip, Expedia recommends booking your tickets 6-12 days in advance to save up to 21%, with Tuesday being the cheapest day to fly. Peak travel days are expected to fall on March 30 and April 1, while March 20 and April 12 may offer lower prices.
At the same time, the UAE government has announced the official Eid Al Fitr holiday dates for public sector employees. The holiday will run from March 30 to April 1 if Ramadan lasts for 29 days, and from March 31 to April 2 if Ramadan lasts 30 days.
