The ULTRAs Awards are among the travel industry’s most prestigious accolades, with winners determined by votes from a global audience. Ultratravel, the independent publication behind the awards, reaches 1.2 million readers worldwide.
In addition to its accolades, Emirates has achieved significant milestones in 2024. The airline completed the modernisation of eight aircraft—three A380s and five Boeing 777s—under its $4 billion cabin upgrade programme. Emirates also invested $11 million in new premium lounges at London Stansted and Jeddah, while refurbishing its flagship lounge at Paris Charles de Gaulle.
The airline expanded its global presence, launching branded stores in Hong Kong, London, and Paris. New routes include flights to Phnom Penh via Singapore, Bogotá via Miami, and Madagascar via the Seychelles.
In the first half of the financial year (1 April to 30 September 2024), Emirates reported its best-ever performance, carrying 26.9 million passengers across its network of 148+ destinations.
