Unlike traditional exhibitions, teamLab Phenomena doesn’t feature static artwork. Instead, it presents 'environmental phenomena', where light, movement, and sound respond to visitors in real time, ensuring a unique experience with every visit. One of its standout displays, Massless Suns and Dark Suns, features glowing orbs that shift in color and intensity based on interaction, making the exhibit unpredictable and ever-changing.
According to teamLab founder Toshiyuki Inoko, the concept challenges conventional ideas of art. “The artworks do not exist independently, but are created by the environment which produces the various phenomena that cause the artworks to exist,” he explained. This approach aligns with Abu Dhabi’s broader vision for cultural innovation, positioning the city as a hub for cutting-edge artistic expression.
Tickets for teamLab Phenomena Abu Dhabi will be priced at Dhs150 for adults, Dhs115 for youth, and Dhs50 for children, with added conveniences such as free parking and locker storage. With its interactive installations and futuristic design, the museum is set to become one of the UAE’s most exciting new attractions.
