Flying Taxi Prices for Dubai to Abu Dhabi Revealed

The much-anticipated flying taxi service is edging closer to reality, and details on pricing have now been unveiled. Operated by Archer Aviation, the service aims to ease traffic congestion and offer a faster, more efficient way to travel, with operations set to begin in late 2025.

For short trips within Abu Dhabi, fares will range between Dhs300 and Dhs350, allowing passengers to bypass city traffic and reach their destinations in 20 to 30 minutes. For longer routes, such as journeys between Dubai and Abu Dhabi, ticket prices are expected to range from Dhs800 to Dhs1,500.

These journeys will be powered by the sleek Midnight eVTOL aircraft, an electric taxi capable of carrying up to four passengers and a pilot at speeds of 241 km/h. For example, a trip from Abu Dhabi International Airport to Emirates Palace could take just 5 to 8 minutes, a significant reduction from the typical 45-minute car ride.
