The Blue Visa is aimed at experts, researchers, and activists working in environmental fields such as marine conservation, climate action, air quality improvement, and sustainability technologies. Eligible candidates include members of environmental organisations, award-winning conservationists, and professionals implementing sustainable practices in their industries.
Applicants must provide proof of their work in environmental protection along with personal identification documents. The application process requires either a direct submission through the Federal Authority for Identity, Citizenship, Customs, and Port Security or a nomination from a recognised authority. A nomination request fee of Dhs350 applies, and international applicants must secure a six-month multiple-entry visa to complete their residency process.
