Elon Musk Announces ‘Dubai Loop’ Underground Transport Project

Designed to revolutionize urban mobility, the system will allow passengers to travel rapidly between key areas through underground tunnels developed by Musk’s The Boring Company. Musk compared the concept to a ‘wormhole,’ explaining that passengers will move effortlessly from one part of the city to another in record time. He emphasized that, once operational, the Dubai Loop will seem like an obvious and essential solution for tackling urban congestion.

Few technical details have been released so far, but the project aligns with The Boring Company’s broader vision of reducing city traffic through high-speed, low-cost tunnel networks.
