Etihad Rail Unveils High-Speed Train Plans

The train, capable of speeds up to 350km/h, will link key destinations and attractions, offering fast and seamless travel for residents and tourists. Although still in the planning phase, with final designs and contracts yet to be approved, the project represents a significant step forward for Etihad Rail’s passenger services, which are already set to roll out across the country.

The first four passenger stations have been confirmed for Abu Dhabi, Dubai, Sharjah, and Fujairah. These stations will integrate with existing public transport systems like metros and buses, creating a cohesive travel experience. Amenities such as business-class lounges, family-friendly facilities, and retail outlets will be available at each station, ensuring passenger comfort.
