Sharjah Launches Free Platform for Learning Arabic Online

The platform offers a structured curriculum spanning seven levels, from beginner to advanced, with lessons crafted to incorporate linguistic, cultural, and psychological insights. Learners can assess their skills through computer-based tests and earn electronic certificates upon completion of each stage, ensuring a comprehensive and rewarding learning journey.

'Mubeen' was unveiled at the international conference titled 'Teaching Arabic to Non-Native Speakers: Curriculum and Characteristics,' emphasizing its focus on meeting the diverse needs of Al Qasimia University’s multicultural student body. The platform also highlights the region's cultural richness by integrating aspects of local, Arab, Islamic, and global heritage into the lessons.

This project follows the footsteps of similar efforts in the UAE, such as Zayed University’s digital platform 'ZAI,' which launched in 2024. The ZAI platform introduced a unique Arabic dictionary with translations and transliterations in English, assisting learners in mastering everyday interactions like greetings, ordering food, and shopping.
