This year’s festival focuses on themes of creativity, community, and belonging. Visitors can expect a packed programme featuring public art installations, live performances, exhibitions, creative workshops, and a dedicated kids’ area – ensuring there’s something for everyone.
Among the highlights is ‘Forest Dancer and the Path to Pure Creation’ by Australia’s ENESS, an immersive installation combining light, sound, and movement to evoke the feeling of unrestrained creativity. Emirati artist Lamya Gargash will also debut a striking large-scale commission titled A Corridor of Books, which delves into identity and memory through a photographic journey inspired by a private library in the UAE.
The festival extends its offerings with in-house gallery exhibitions, afikra discussions with artists, and the Reel Palestine Film Festival at Cinema Akil. Families can enjoy interactive workshops and activities at the dedicated Kids Lane, while food lovers can explore a curated culinary experience by What The Food, showcasing local chefs and artisanal producers.
