Dubai Mall Sets a New Attendance Record with Over 111 Million Visitors

Dubai Mall has once again cemented its status as the world’s most visited shopping destination, breaking its own attendance record with over 111 million visitors in 2024. This marks a significant rise from the 105 million visitors recorded the previous year and showcases a remarkable leap from 2022’s 88 million footfall.

Situated in the shadow of Burj Khalifa, Dubai Mall is more than just a retail hub – it’s an iconic attraction that draws millions of tourists and residents alike. Spanning a massive 13 million square feet, the mall features over 1,200 retail outlets, including flagship stores like Galeries Lafayette and Bloomingdale’s, alongside more than 200 dining venues.

Beyond shopping, Dubai Mall boasts an array of entertainment options, including the world’s largest shopping mall aquarium, an Olympic-sized ice rink, and a 24-screen cineplex. Its recent addition of a sprawling Chinatown with authentic East Asian cuisine and cultural experiences further enhances its appeal.

As part of its ongoing evolution, a Dhs1.5 billion expansion is underway, set to add 240 luxury retail and dining options to the already sprawling site. The development underscores the mall’s commitment to maintaining its position as a global leader in retail and leisure experiences.
