Dubai Run 2024: Temporary Road Closures Announced

The highly anticipated Dubai Run Challenge is set to take place on Sunday, November 24, transforming the city’s streets into a massive running track.

To facilitate the event, the Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has announced temporary road closures from 3:30 am to 10:30 am, with alternative routes available to minimise disruptions.

Major roads, including Sheikh Zayed Road between the Trade Centre roundabout and the second bridge, Al Sukook Street, and Lower Financial Centre Road, will be affected during the event. Motorists are encouraged to use alternative routes such as Financial Centre Road (upper level), Zaabeel Palace Street, and Al Khail Road to avoid delays.

The event is expected to draw thousands of participants and spectators, making it one of the city’s most vibrant community fitness celebrations. Residents and visitors are advised to plan their journeys in advance to ensure smooth travel on race day.
