Salik Account to Simplify Parking Payments in 2025

Starting in early 2025, Salik users will be able to pay for parking directly through their eWallet, thanks to a partnership between Salik and Parkonic, the UAE’s largest private parking operator. This new feature will cover 135,000 parking spaces nationwide, including 107 locations across major cities.

In Dubai, the system will be available in key areas such as Central Park, Global Village, and The Beach – JBR. Other locations include Marsa Al Bateen in Abu Dhabi, Heart of Sharjah, and Umbrella Beach in Fujairah.

The collaboration integrates AI-driven parking technology from Parkonic with Salik’s established toll infrastructure, offering users a more seamless experience. Ibrahim Sultan Al Haddad, CEO of Salik, noted that the initiative supports the UAE’s smart city vision, aiming to enhance convenience and efficiency for residents and visitors alike.
