Emiratis can travel visa-free to 133 countries and obtain visas on arrival in 47 more, with only 18 nations requiring pre-approved entry. The Schengen visa waiver further enhances its appeal, allowing seamless travel to 26 European countries, alongside visa-free access to all five Gulf Cooperation Council states.

The rankings evaluate passports based on their travel ease, considering visa requirements and international mobility. European countries dominate the top rankings, with Spain, Finland, and France taking second, third, and fourth positions, respectively. Among non-European nations, South Korea stands at 21st, Japan at 25th, and New Zealand at 28th.

For UAE residents from other countries, the rankings place the UK at 32nd, the Philippines at 66th, India at 70th, and Pakistan at 91st. The UAE passport’s exceptional status highlights its unparalleled global access and the nation’s commitment to fostering international ties.
