Dubai Metro to Operate Nonstop for 43 Hours This New Year

The Roads and Transport Authority (RTA) has taken significant measures to accommodate the large number of expected revelers and reduce the strain on road traffic. In addition to the Metro’s nonstop operation, Dubai Tram will also extend its hours, running from 6:00 AM on December 31 until 1:00 AM on January 2. To complement these services, the RTA is deploying 1,400 buses, which will be available free of charge to ensure seamless travel across the city.

With millions of visitors and residents expected to participate in Dubai’s iconic New Year’s events, including fireworks displays at Burj Khalifa and Atlantis, The Palm, public transportation will play a key role in managing the crowds. The RTA has urged everyone to plan their journeys in advance and prioritize public transport to avoid road congestion and ensure safety.
